Your First Visit
What to Expect
Your first appointment is focused on understanding you — your health history, your concerns, and your goals. Dr. Schneider will take the time to listen before performing a thorough examination.
Following your consultation and exam, Dr. Schneider will explain her findings and recommendations in plain language. If chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition, your first adjustment may happen that same day.
Plan for your first visit to last approximately 45–60 minutes. Follow-up visits are typically 15–30 minutes.

Questions
Frequently Asked
Is chiropractic care safe?
Yes. Chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of healthcare available for musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Schneider will always discuss any risks and answer your questions before beginning treatment.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on your condition. Some patients feel significant relief after just one or two visits; others with chronic conditions benefit from an ongoing care plan. Dr. Schneider will give you a realistic expectation at your first visit.
Does getting adjusted hurt?
Most adjustments are painless or produce only mild, temporary soreness — similar to what you might feel after a workout. Dr. Schneider uses gentle techniques and will always work within your comfort level.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to see a chiropractor in Tennessee. You can call or text us directly to schedule your appointment.
Can children receive chiropractic care?
Absolutely. Chiropractic care is safe for patients of all ages, including infants and children. Techniques are always adapted to be gentle and age-appropriate.
